NSSA Nationals 2004
held at Lower Trestles in 4 to 6 foot surf.

11 year old Carissa Moore pulled a first ever Nationals Trifecta by winning the Open Womens, Explorers Womens and Middle School Girls. Watch out Layne!

Upon winning the coveted Governors Cup Carissa replied "This trophy doesn't belong to me, it belongs to Bethany." What a great sport!

San Clemente's Dane Gudauskas took the Open Mens title which was held last year by twin brother Pat.

It was quite obvious that Dane blew everyone out in the final with his knarly backhand attack. Looks like he'll be driving away in the Toyota Matrix!

Puerto Rico's Dylan Graves won the heated Explorer Juniors Mens Final by throwing down some solid surfing the entire week.

Pat Gudauskas came out firing in the Open Mens final with this incredible attempt at a Rodeo Air. The crowd went crazy!

New Smyrna Beach's Evan Geiselman surfed in three finals on Sunday winning the Open Mini Grom division.

Willie Hogan and step dad Mike recording the action on Digital Video. The event is a great family outing!

Karina Petroni is the next in line from the field of hot surf chicks coming out of Florida in the wake of World Champions Frieda Zamba and Lisa Anderson.

He's only 10 years old and he's already getting the hot chicks . Karina Petroni and Evan Geiselman checking out
the heats.

Definitely no stranger to an NSSA National title, New Smyrna Beach's Jeremy Johnston lit up in the Explorer Men's final taking the top spot from a hungry field.

Jon Jon Florence excersized his North Shore big wave experience by clinching the Open Boys division.

Melbourne Beach's Blake Jones scored a 9.5 in his quarter final heat and was a standout in the freesurf sessions that went down in the late afternoons after the competitions were done for the day.

Sterling Spencer cashed in on his frequent flyer miles by becoming this years SMAS Champion sponsored by O'Neill. The kid not only can Air Surf but plays one heck of an Air Guitar as well.

Hawaii's Ola Eleogram was one of the favorites in the SMAS Air Show but still was able to throw in some serious carves between air sections.

In the words of Governor Arnold Schwarzenager, "I'll Be Back!" Ezekiel Lau finished a close 2nd in the Open Mini Grom divison with brilliant surfing in three finals. The kids are surfing better than ever!

Another Hawaiian top gun was TJ Baron who surfed incredibly the entire week making both Explorer Jrs. and Open Mens finals.

The heck with the 1st Place super Mini Grom trophy, I won a bike! Evan Geiselman showing off his new toys.
